A brief note 

ANNE MAUGHAN was born in Merredin in 1941 and studied in Perth at what is now Curtin University. She obtained a BA in Art & Design at the University of WA in 1980. Anne began exhibiting at the Old Fire Station Gallery in 1971, the first of many. Anne has won a number of art prizes and is in most WA collections. The landscape and its connection have always been a dominant element in her work.
