PHILLIPA O'BRIEN  was born in Perth in 1941. She graduated from the University of WA in 1963 and went on to do post-graduate studies at the Hornsey College of Art in London. Phillipa began exhibiting in 1964 and was one of the first artists to show with us in 1979. She is also a highly regarded set designer in the theatre world, and has published books on Robin Juniper and Margaret Priest as well as the recent, well-received, No Stone Without a Name.

Phillipa has also done a great many notable outdoor projects.
