CHRIS CAPPER was born in Melbourne, Victoria, in 1951. After his family moved to Perth, Chris studied art from 1970 to 1972, at what is now Curtin University, and followed this up with a Post Graduate Diploma at the Victorian College of the Arts, part of the University of Melbourne.
